Upon receipt of your new Medicare card, we advise that you call us at 541-782-4094 to discuss options for a suitable Medicare policy.

Basic Medicare has Part A for hospital coverage and Part B for physician services. There are deductibles and co-insurance for Parts A & B that Medicare does not cover, nor will prescription drugs be covered.

If you don’t enroll in an Rx plan or Part D program, you may be penalized. Most Medicare Advantage plans can cover benefits and services covered under Part A & B as well as Medicare Prescription Drug coverage and may include extra benefits at no cost.

There is extra help for people with limited income and resources. If you qualify for help, Medicare will pay for almost all of your prescription drug costs. You can apply or get more information about the extra help, also called Low Income Subsidy, by calling Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 or by visiting SocialSecurity.gov on the web.
